Do I need mechanical experience?
Not at all! All skill levels are welcome, and we provide training, mentorship, and opportunities to learn along the way.
There are also a variety of non-mechanical roles such as hospitality, administration, cleaning, or marketing.
Will I receive training?
We offer hands-on training and guidance from experienced volunteers so you feel capable and supported. As part of the volunteer onboarding process, you will be paired with current volunteers and shadow them until you are comfortable to lead jobs yourself.
What are typical volunteer hours?
Volunteer hours vary based on the role and client service times. Currently, we have scheduled hours on Monday morning, Monday evening, and Tuesday evening. If YOU are willing to commit to any time slot during the week, we will open that up to customers. For example, if you could commit to doing ONLY OIL CHANGES for 2 hours on a given day of the week, we’d make a space. Let us know!
Is there an age requirement to volunteer?
Volunteers must be 16 or older in order to serve in the shop, or have a parent in tow.
Volunteering during the summer is a great way for high school students to receive mentorship, learn skills, and serve the community!
How do I become a volunteer?
You will receive more information after applying, but here are the basic steps of the onboarding process:
